C.V. Writing

A C.V. is a sales and marketing document. It needs to “sell” your transferable skills and exactly what you are capable of achieving. During this session, we will review your strengths, achievements, skills and career goals and ensure that these are highlighted in their C.V. 

Pre – Session: 

To get the most out of this session you need:

  • A current CV.. or a list of previous roles, qualifications, courses attended, IT skills and interests outside of work

Learning Objectives: 

  • Identify when to use a short form and long form C.V.
  • Describe your Key Responsibilities and Key Achievements for each of your previous job roles
  • Effectively quantify your  Education, IT  skills and other experiences 
  • Research the target role and integrate key phrases into your C.V.
  • Be able to optimise your LinkedIn profile
